Memorandum of understanding signed between Malta and Ghana

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Malta and Ghana paving the way for a permanent commission between the two ministries.

The agreement, signed at the United Nations in New York between Foreign Minister George Vella and his Ghanaian counterpart, also strengthens relations between the two countries in the economic, commercial, industrial, financial, maritime, investment and tourism sectors, among others while including co-operation as regards to illegal immigration.
