Awareness through art at Palazzo de Piro

Europa Donna Malta (Breast Care Support Group) is organising its second Awareness Through Art exhibition at Palazzo de Piro Cultural Centre, Mdina, between 2 and 14 November. The theme for this year's exhibition is the Beauty of Life.Jacqueline Agius, Emma Borg, John Martin Borg, Xaxa Calleja, Jeni Caruana, Grace Cassar, Rachael Galea, Marlene Gouder, Annabel MacDonald, Paul Stellini, Anastasia Pace, Olga Diacenco, Luca Cauchi, Hermine Sammut and Caroline Young Cali will be exhibiting their works.This year Europa Donna Malta is celebrating its 25th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of its affiliation with Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition, which advocates for optimal breast cancer treatment for all women in the European Union. Besides providing support to women with breast cancer and their families, one of the group's main objectives is to raise awareness about the disease and the importance of early detection. Art is an original and unusual way of doing so.This event is being supported by Infinitely Xara, 202 Jewellery and Ta' Mena.
