For the third consecutive time A.T.G. Co. Ltd. is supporting the Maltese Diabetes Association by providing the new membership cards. These cards will be provided to all members that renew their membership as well as to those who have decided to join the association for the first time.The Maltese Diabetes Association was established in 1981 and today it is very active, organizing Monthly Educational Talks for persons suffering from Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, have a Family Support Group, a Juvenile Diabetes Support Group, known as DAISY (Diabetes Association in Support of Youth) organizes Weekend "Live-ins" for teenage members and an Annual Summer Camp for Juvenile and Teenage members, providing blood glucose strips and meters at reduced prices as well as publishes an in-house magazine, 'Id-Dijabete w Sahhtek' offering a wide range of articles and a bi-monthly newsletter.On 14 November World Diabetes Day will be commemorated and both the Maltese Diabetes Association and A.T.G. Co. Ltd. will be celebrating this occasion with various events. The public is encouraged to follow the association on the Facebook pages of The Malta Diabetes Association, DAISY and A.T.G. Co.
