Valletta Dramatic Company will be hosting another edition of Kantanapoli on Sunday 9 November at the Catholic Institute Theatre at 6.30pm.For this edition, Valletta Dramatic Company has decided to present a different edition from the previous ones and has been titled Kantanapoli: Encore. This edition will feature some of the best musical pieces that have been presented in the past editions of Kantanapoli.In fact, amongst others performed will be pieces such as La Piccinina, La Panse, O' Sarracino, Non Ti Scordar di Me, Piove and La Zarella.Tenor Joseph Aquilina as well as singers Laura Bruno and Debbie Scerri will be performing these numbers. And joining them as special guest will be the Italian tenor Attilio Sanna.The songs will be performed live as the singers will be accompanied by a live orchestra under the direction of MRO Arcibald Mizzi.Also performing will be the choir of the Valletta Dramatic Company.The concert is about three hours long and is surely to provide entertainment for all those who enjoy listening to this music. The artistic direction is by George Micallef.
