The Opposition today urged Home Affairs Minister Manuel Mallia to publish the findings of two inquiries into alleged wrongdoings in the police force.
PN MPs Mario de Marco and Jason Azzopardi presented a motion to Speaker of the House Anglu Farrugia calling for an urgent debate on the matter.
Dr Azzopardi said it is high time that the people know the truth about the two inquiries. He said transparency should be the rule and not the exception.
One report is on the wrongful prosecution of Darryl Luke Borg and the other on former Police Commissioner Peter Paul Zammit's failure to prosecute a man who allegedly attacked four policemen at the Zabbar police station.
