Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil strengthened his attack on the retired judges who formed part of the inquiry, the Labour Party has said.

"The Opposition alleged that these retired judges did everything possible to hide the truth".

"Aside from the fact that this attack is without precedent, during the press conference Simon Busuttil did not mention that the judges themselves said the Opposition's comments are defamatory and added political pressure".

"While Dr Busuttil criticised government for not holding a press conference last night, he himself was selective in answering questions and ran from them. This is along the same lines of the selective recordings he chose to publish".

"Dr Busuttil has no credibility. Now that the truth has come out and responsibility has ben taken, he continues with his attacks even against institutions respected by everyone for their integrity".

"This negativity has resulted in he himself trying to hide the truth".
