Local satirical comedy group The Comedy Knights, will be performing their show 12 Months of Funny once again to satisfy the overwhelming demand for tickets.

Featuring a fast‐paced mix of original sketches and songs, the show takes a humorous look at the year gone by. It played to sold‐out houses over the Christmas season and was described by tenor Joseph Calleja as "excellent" after he joined the group on stage for an impromptu performance.

The show pokes fun at local politics, personalities and daily life with comparisons being drawn to shows such as Have I Got News For You, That Was The Week That Was, Saturday Night Live as well as the work of performers like Tom Lehrer and Monty Python.

Written by Chris Dingli and Steve Hili, the show is performed by Jo Caruana, Thomas Camilleri, Marc Cabourdin, Colin Fitz, Pia Zammit and Dingli himself. Direction is in the hands of Wesley Ellul.

The encore, titled One More Night of Funny, will play on Saturday 17 January at the Salesians Theatre in Sliema. Tickets are available from www.ticketline.com.mt and include free parking.
