Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci pays a visit to Dario Fo

During his recent visit to Milan Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci, whilst working on Yves Klein-Fontana exhibition and meetings with the History of Art section Milano University also succeeded in meeting yet again his mentor, teacher and friend Dario Fo at his home in Milano. Dr Schembri Bonaci's first encounter with Dario Fo was in the early 1990s. He studied under Fo and Franca Rame (who passed away recently). He directed several works in several theatres around Europe including Moscow. He also collaborated with the Maltese Troubadour-Ghannejja Zejtun group and produced an Ghna version of Fo's masterpiece 'Mistero Buffo'. In fact Dr Schembri Bonaci also translated 'Mistero Buffo' in Maltese.Dario Fo is an Italian actor-playwright, comedian, singer, theatre director, stage designer, songwriter and political campaigner, and the recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize for Literature.
