Following a seemingly never-ending 48-hour journey to Cambodia, it is quite certain that the question "who-made-me-do-this?" will pop up a million times to those who are holidaying.

It is not the case for Reaching Cambodia who somewhat know that the smiles and hugs which await them will definitely wash away all the tiredness of a long journey towards a second home.Following training and informative sessions about the linked communities and neglected children that Reaching Cambodia works with; the choice of participating in sustainable volunteering has joined seven strangers into friends all with a common aim. Responsible volunteering does not require solely a two-week placement - it takes months prior and post placement involvement within the organisation to fully understand the power of such.  

Today, they all share the same target - that to help and improve the lives of the children. Just a few days before their departure, Reaching Cambodia also joined Helping Hands magazine, which helps foundations to raise awareness and funds. Helping Hands is suitable for all ages and includes many articles which cover illnesses, food allergies, obesity and healthy recipes. It also includes jokes, puzzles and quizzes. Helping Hands can be bought from representatives of the magazine who are around Malta and Gozo.
