On 18 December a new conference hall, Sala Sacro Cuor, was inaugurated at Dar Qalb ta' Ġesu by President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

Present at the ceremony were the Minister of Social Policy Dr Michael Farrugia, American Ambassador Ms Gina AberCombie-Winstanly, Australian High Commissioner Ms Jane Lambert, Mgr Victor Zammit McKeon and other distinguished guests. An opening speech was given by the administrator Judith Debono who highlighted the work done and thanked all the maintenance staff, volunteers and benefactors particularly the Community Chest Fund.  

Through this project Dar Qalb ta' Ġesu will be able to register revenue in order to invest in therapeutic therapy for the residential women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
