Following consultation with Flimkien Ghall-Ambjent Ahjar, the Grand Harbour Restoration Corporation (GHRC) hired expert Ian Lansley, to give his recommendations as part of the embellishment project currently ongoing in front of Castille.
"Work on the project, as announced in the budget this year, will begin in the coming weeks".
Over the past weeks, the GHRC held meetings with the FAA in order to decide on the fate of the four trees in the Castille square.
Ian Lansley, who is currently in Malta, will give recommendations regarding how these trees should be relocated without causing them any harm. The GHRC also held meetings with various other stakeholders recently.
