Three foreign persons were arraigned in the Gozo Court today for drug possession and trafficking, police have said.

A 25-year-old man was accused of being in possession of cocaine and ecstasy. He pleaded guilty as charged and was sentence to one year conditional discharge. 

A 28-year-old man was accused of trafficking and being in possession of ecstasy which drug was found under circumstances which show that it was not for the man's personal use. 

The other person, a 20-year-old man was charged of trafficking ecstasy and for being in possession of cannabis plant and ecstasy. 

The 28 year-old and the 20-year-old men pleaded not guilty as charged and were remanded in custody. The cases appeared before Magistrate P. Coppini.
