MIA’s CEO premature ‘release’ had ‘nothing to do with financial results’

Thursday, 5 March 2015, 21:46 Last update: about 12 years ago

Listed airport operator Flughafen Wien raised revenue and profit and decreased debts in 2014. Thus the management suggest to raise the dividend from €1.30  to €1.65. Growth has been also predicted for 2015, as revenue is seen hiking to over €645 million and profit is seen at €85 million.

The VIE annual report issued this week also said that executive board is also satisfied with the holdings of Malta and Kosice (Slovakia): The Malta International Airport had provided a contribution of €4.7 million, Kosice a €1 million.

The premature release of Malta's managing director, Markus Klaushofer, had nothing to do with the results, VIE board member and previous Malta CEO Julian Jaeger told the board.
