Juventus has acquired Argentine forward Paulo Dybala from Palermo for 32 million euros ($36 million).

The Turin club made the announcement on Thursday before flying to Berlin for the Champions League final, saying it signed Dybala to a five-year contract.

The deal could reach 40 million euros if certain bonus clauses are reached.

The 21-year-old Dybala scored 13 goals in 34 appearances for Palermo this season, and was also prized for his ability to set up goals.

He becomes Juve's first acquisition for next season, when it will be aiming for a fifth straight Serie A title.

Dybala joins a well-stocked attack that already features Carlos Tevez, Alvaro Morata, Fernando Llorente, and Alessandro Matri.
