As a one-time recipient of the Ballon d'Or, it must have hurt Juventus legend Pavel Nedved to be humiliated with a nutmeg by an amateur in the Italian equivalent of Soccer Aid.

But the pain probably wasn't of the same level Italian rapper Moreno suffered as the Czech Republic midfielder took his revenge, stamping on his rival's ankle as he tried to pass him at the Juventus Stadium.

Nedved retired in 2009 and while he might have lost some of the pace he held during his playing days, the competitive edge that served him so well across 18 seasons and 91 international caps is evidently still there.

The 42-year-old lined up alongside old team-mate Alessandro Del Piero for Tuesday's charity match in aid of cancer research, with Oasis singer Liam Gallagher and current Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri also in the XI.

His tormentor - Moreno - was on an opposing side made up of Italian musicians. The 25-year-old has two platinum disks to compare to Nedved's three Serie A titles.

Money raised from the Turin fixture is being donated to the Fondazione Telethon and Piedmont's Candiolo Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment.

The challenge by Nedved, who is now a top official of Juventus, put him under fire in the Italian media, with legal action being considered on the grounds that Nedved's behaviour tarnished the reputation of the charity match.
