Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will be attending two Summits in Brussels this week, the first regards the Greek bailout and the second, migration.
The 1st eurogroup heads of government summit taking place today was hastily convened after a recent failure to agree over the Greek situation.
The talks are perhaps the last chance before Greece defaults on its loans and is dangerously close to missing the June 30 deadline that includes a €1.6bn payment to the International Monetary Fund.
Greece has paid €300m of the amount owed, however if it fails to make the rest of the payment, the country risks leaving the Eurozone all together, with a possibility of the country also leaving the EU.
The IMF, EU Commission and the European Central Bank are not willing to unlock emergency funds unless Greece accepts further reform.
International media reports show that the organisations want Greece to implement economic changes in pensions, VAT and Budget surplus, before releasing €7.2bn of bailout funds,
The second Summit of the European Council will occur on June 25 and 26. The focus of these talks will be migration, where leaders are expected to focus on relocation, resettlement and return policy. They will also discuss security challenges facing the European Union. They will converse about a review of the European security strategy and take stock of on-going work in the fight against terrorism.
Economic issues are also expected to be covered, with leaders taking stock of the state of play concerning the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the European Fund for Strategic Investments.
Lastly the digital agenda and the Economic Monetary Union report on better economic governance in the euro area will be discoursed.

11th hour concessions
Greece has submitted a list of concessions to its creditors ahead of the summit that will take place later on today.
The Guardian reports that the proposal came after a number of phone calls between the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the French President Francois Hollande. A spokesperson from Juncker's Cabinet told international media that the proposal from Athens stands as a basis for progress. It is not clear how far the concessions offered met their creditors's demands for spending cuts.
