A foreigner has been hospitalised shortly after he was found injured inside a vehicle today at around 10:30am in Aldo Moro Street Marsa. 

The man was found on the passenger side of a damaged van in the service road adjacent to the above-mentioned street. He was subsequently extracted from the vehicle by a medical team, assisted by members of the Civil Protection Department and conveyed by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital.

It has so far been established that the foreigner, whose identity remains unknown, is not in a critical condition.

It has yet to be established what led to this and who else may have been involved.

Investigations are underway by the Hamrun and Paola District Police.
