Fabrizio Miccoli was yesterday presented officially by Birkirkara FC in front of a large number of enthusiastic fans at the club's Infetti training ground. The former Juventus, Benfica, Palermo and Italy player said he was here to win.

He added: "I know that the squad is strong and I hope to be able to give a helping hand to the club which has given me a very good impression.

I am looking forward towards this new experience as I am happy to be ending my career here in the same colours as those of Lecce, with whom he played the last two years. I hope we will win the Malta title." Apart from Mizzoli, the Stripes also presented their 2015-2016 squad which also includes former Floriana striker Plut and two new foreigners
