Parliamentary Secretary Michael Falzon reiterated that he was not involved in the expropriation of part-ownership of a property in Old Mint Street but said he would rather wait for the outcome of the NAO investigation before commenting.

He was asked by the Opposition whether further expropriations would be made, and whether any further expropriations would be made by Marco Gaffarena. He was also asked how many pieces of land were passed over to third parties by the Lands Department and who ordered the expropriation.

The questions were made by Opposition leader Simon Busuttil and PN MPs Mario de Marco, Ryan Callus and Marthese Portelli.

Dr Falzon said that during the previous legislature a land swap took place on the eve of the election.
