A woman today pleaded guilty to having a false passport, after she was arrested this morning at the airport check-in desk.

The 31-year-old Nigerian national Gloria llaho, along with her two young children, appeared before Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera a few hours after being caught.

The woman was charged with being in possession of a false passport, falsifying immigration registration documents and falsifying a public document.

The woman was handed a one year jail sentence, suspended for two years.
