Police Force organises crime prevention sessions for the elderly

Tuesday, 14 July 2015, 15:09 Last update: about 12 years ago

The Police together with the Active Ageing Unit within the Department for the Elderly and Community Care, shall be delivering crime prevention talks in the coming weeks for the elderly at Day Care centers around the island. Following these informative talks, the elders will have the opportunity to talk directly to the Officer giving these tips, to discuss crime issues in their respective locality. Therefore, elder members of the community are urged to attend for such sessions, so that together we can fight crime. We would appreciate media coverage so that such event is promoted among the elders since most are likely to be reached through printed newspapers, television and radio.
