A total of 327 trees were planted in the first five months of this year, Environment Minister Leo Brincat said this evening.
He was replying to a parliamentary question put forward by Shadow Minister Marthese Portelli.
200 trees were planted in Pembroke, 47 at Ta Qali, 25 in Buskett, 19 in Qrendi, 16 at Marsaskala Family Park, 10 at the Scouts site in Ghajn Tuffieha and 10 in Mellieha.
The high number of trees in Pembroke was planted by the local council.
