Marieanne Barthet Brown will be leaving the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) and return to Malta to join a destination management company after 18 years of service, Conference and Incentive Travel magazine has revealed.
Brown was senior manager for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events, promoting Malta in the UK and Ireland. She spent 18 years with the MTA and had previously worked in the British High Commission in Malta prior to joining the MTA.
She told Conference and Incentive Travel magazine - "During my time, I have seen a steady growth in the number of events held in Malta and Gozo and I am extremely optimistic that it will continue to increase over the next few years". She told the magazine that her time with MTA was an amazing experience and an incredible learning curve.
