A 22-year-old Bulgarian woman was today conditionally discharged after admitting to begging and living the life of a vagabond.
Todorka Atanasova, of no fixed address, was accused of begging in Valletta on 15 July and during the preceding weeks.
Magistrate Neville Camilleri took Atanasova's clean police conduct into consideration and conditionally discharged her for three months.
Inspector Jeffrey Scicluna prosecuted and lawyer Patrick Valentino was legal aid.
