The heat wave is still to come, but as temperatures continue to rise it seems that some have already lost their cool.

This morning two men came to blows right next to the traffic lights opposite The Malta Independent offices in St Julian’s.

There was no major crash, but the two men immediately left their vehicles and started shouting in each other’s faces.

The matter soon degenerated further as the men came to blows, hitting each other as other cars continued to drive by.

After some seconds they were about to return to their car but one of them verbally offended the other, and the two exchanged a few hits again, with one of them losing his flip-flops in the process.

Then, just as suddenly as it all started, it finished with the two men returning to their vehicle and proceeding in different directions.
