After they came back from a goal down to score two goals in the last fifteen minutes, Maltese champions Hibernians are in a good position of making a historic qualification by passing through the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Despite their win, beating a more quoted side, it will still be hard tp eliminate Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Israel this evening. Maccabi have won the Israel championship 21 times and the national cup 23 times.

Hibernians coach Branko Nisevic is not expected to make huge changes from last week’s game. Young goalkeeper Jurgen Borg will defend his team’s posts. Rui Gomes, Rodolfo Soares and Andrei Agius will form the defensive line, while Marcelo Dias and Clayton Failla will act as wing-backs to support both defence and attack.

Jackson Lima, Bjorn Kristensen and veteran captain Andrew Cohen will muscle the midfield area with Brazilian duo Jorginho and Gilmar hope to build on their positive performance from last week.
