It is only the Nationalist Party that has no credibility in the energy sector, as PN activists admitted in the Google Group led by MP Tonio Fenech, the Labour Party said in a statement this morning.

PN leader Simon Busuttil has not realised that in the past two years, energy tariffs have been reduced, Enemalta Corporation is being revived and that heavy fuel oil will no longer be used for the generation of power.

The success in the sector is being endorsed by international credit agencies such as Standard and Poor’s, the PL said.

No project will fall by the wayside, the PL assured and, as Tonio Fenech admitted in the Google Group, intelligent people believe the government is doing well in the energy sector.
