Beat the heat. Skip the queues. Agenda Bookshop offers online textbook shopping for third consecutiv

Monday, 27 July 2015, 13:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Agenda Bookshop is for the third consecutive summer facilitating the tedious process of textbook shopping through its accessible online service ahead of the upcoming scholastic year.

The online shop www.agendatextbooks.com was first launched for primary and secondary level students three years ago. After its success, Agenda Bookshop rolled out the service to Sixth Form students the following summer and finally extended the service for University textbooks last year.

The service is specially designed to cater for the syllabus of every school, Sixth Form and course at the University.

"Our online bookshop has proven to be very successful since we launched the concept three years ago, having already benefitted thousands of online users. In fact, our customers have remarked that it saves time and unnecessary hassle," said Emma Sullivan, Marketing manager at Agenda Bookshop.

Parents and older students can start by visiting the website www.agendatextbooks.com to become a registered user.

They can then select the course of choice to automatically generate the list of books required for their studies. After the selection is confirmed (with the optional service of book covering), the website will generate a personalised quote to be paid upon collection.

All customers making use of the service will receive a unique package number and will be notified when their order is dispatched via email or text message.

Textbooks can then be collected from any of the selected pick-up points, five of which are open seven days a week: Agenda Bookshop at the Valletta Waterfront (Floriana), Junior College & University Campus (Msida), Pavi Supermarket (Qormi), Plaza Shopping Centre & The Point (Sliema), Topline Megastore (St Andrew's), Embassy Shopping Complex & Republic Street (Valletta), Bookends at Gallarija (Fgura) and 8 Till Late (Bugibba, Mater dei Hospital, Paceville, St Julian's).

For more information send an email to [email protected] or log onto www.agendatextbooks.com and stay up-to-date with all the latest offers on books and services. Agenda can also be reached through Facebook.
