As part of its corporate social responsibility programme to help those members of the community going through challenging situations, MSV Life, Malta's largest life insurer, renewed its support to San Blas Therapeutic Community in Zebbug.

The beneficial relationship between MSV and the Caritas-run rehabilitation centre for drug abusers at San Blas goes back to 2011 and since then the life insurer has backed up the centre with both financial and human resources for infrastructural improvements.

This year, MSV's support will go towards the embellishment and refurbishment of the recently established female shelter which currently hosts some seven residents.

"As a company, and particularly as a life insurer, we feel it is our responsibility to share some of the community's commitment in helping people who fell victims to drug abuse to re-establish a clean and healthy life," said MSV Life CEO, David G. Curmi. "It is encouraging to see Caritas's hard work and dedication give these people back their dignity."
