Summer at Le Meridien St Julian’s Hotel & Spa

Monday, 17 August 2015, 15:13 Last update: about 11 years ago

Le Meridien St Julian's recently hosted its key business partners to a relaxed evening at its La Bajja rooftop terrace to celebrate the start of the summer season, with an innovative menu of sweet and savoury creations prepared by its executive chef Sven Cepon, inspired by his recent years based at the Westin Singapore and Sheraton Maldives. These included live pop-up canapés stations - a new concept for Le Méridien Malta - BBQ tables, a chicken Sharma station and sweet corner.

The venue, commanding unrivalled views of the picturesque Balluta Bay, was themed to bring the hotel's Le Meridien Sparkling concept to life - a new perspective with innovative flavours and creative flair transforming cocktails in sensorial timeless creations.

Alex Incorvaja, the new director of Operations, who together with management and the sales team hosted the evening event, stated: "Le Meridien brand is all about the creative, open-minded, curious traveller... this event was a little taste of how Le Meridien Malta was implementing this philosophy."

This summer, the hotel is unlocking a variety of options for its Maltese and international guests. KuDéTa Lounge & Bar provides a varied menu for all day dining, with an elegant a la carte evening menu, set on its terrace overlooking Balluta Bay.

To celebrate the Balluta Festa, La Bajja is opening specifically on 25 and 26 August for a special BBQ dinner, giving guests the opportunity to savour the colourful fireworks display.
