Captain sea cadets visits T.S. St Paul Malta GC Unit

The parade night on 10 July was a memorable one for the Sea Cadets Corps - T.S. St Paul Malta GC Unit, when it hosted Capt. Phil Russell RN, Captain Sea Cadets. The newly-appointed Sea Cadets Corps captain met with the Unit Command, members of staff and cadets, as well as with the Unit Management Committee (UMC) volunteers. Unit Commanding Officer, Lt (SCC) Ray Demanuele RNR and UMC Chairman Captain Mark Muscat MN, welcomed Captain Russell on board. An inspection of the divisions followed. During his remarks, Captain Russell commended both the staff and the cadets for their work and commitment to the Unit. He stated that the long-standing relationship between the Malta Unit and the Sea Cadets Corps in the UK will continue for a long time. Unit Commanding Officer Lt (SCC) Demanuele RNR thanked Captain Russell and presented him with a Unit crest to commemorate the visit. The Sea Cadets Corps is a voluntary maritime youth organisation for young people aged between 10 and 18 years. Assea cadets they acquire new skills and learn how to work in teams.
