President Emeritus, and former Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami, who was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday suffering from severe chest pains, has been discharged from hospital.
On Saturday, the medical team said that Dr Fenech Adami suffered a slight heart attack.
Dr Fenech Adami was enjoying a magnificent morning with his family on board his son's Beppe Fenech Adami's boat when he felt the first chest pain.
He was rushed to shore and taken to hospital by an ambulance. He is reported to be in a stable condition. This isn't the first time Dr Fenech Adami had heart related problems and he in fact had to undergo surgery more than once. He also has a pacemaker implant.

Following the news that Dr Fenech Adami had been admitted to hospital, Opposition and Party leader Simon Busuttil - in a tweet message - wished Dr Fenech Adami a quick recovery.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat also tweeted a get well soon message to Dr Fenech Adami yesterday evening.
