A Syrian man, resident of San Gwann, suffered grievous injuries when he fell a height of one storey in Zurrieq this morning, the police said.
The accident happened in Barrieri Street at 9.30am.
The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
Sources said the man recently moved in with his children, who own properties in the street. It is understood that the man broke two ribs in the fall.
