As forecast, a thunderstorm hit Malta in the early hours of Wednesday morning, with rain reported in various parts of the island too.
Temperatures are also cooler than the stifling heat we experienced in the past days.
But summer is not over yet, and warm days are expected to return towards the end of the week.
