Tickets for this year’s Rockestra event, which will be held tomorrow at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’ Qali, have been sold out, the organisers said.

The event will be held to raise funds in aid of the Community Chest Fund.

A number of direct and extended bus services for people attending this year’s Rockestra on Saturday, are being organised by Malta Public Transport.

The transport operator will operate direct buses from Valletta to Ta’ Qali and from Ta’ Qali back to Valletta.

Routes 202, 203, X3, 106 and 54 will be re-routed to serve those attending Rockestra.

This year's Rockestra will see the participation of Luca Colombo, one of the most sought-after and critically acclaimed guitarists in Italy. He has shared the stage with Eros Ramazzotti, Marco Mengoni, Nek, Max Pezzali, Mango, Anna Oxa, Robbie Williams, Lionel Richie, Al Jarreau, Phil Collins, Leona Lewis, Rebecca Ferguson, Jennifer Lopez, Brian May, Michael Bublè and James Blunt just to name a few.

There will also be the participation of Maltese singer Marc Storace as well as Ludwig Galea, Julie Zahra, Mikaela and Raquela.
