The day centre for people suffering from dementia will start its services in Gozo soon, parliamentary secretary for the elderly Justyne Caruana said.
She was addressing relatives of people who have dementia, and the presence of 150 persons made it clear that there is a great need for such services to be offered.
She said the government remains committed to improve services offered to elderly people.
