Malta’s envoy to the World Tourism Organisation Joe Grima has called for the deportation of the Libyan man who today was accused of attempted murder of two persons and of injuring another four in Paceville on Sunday morning.

Writing on Facebook, Mr Grima described the Libyan as “contemptible and nasty” person (bezqa u dardira).

He added that the Libyan should be sent back to Libya to serve his sentence there, if he is found guilty.

“Our prisons are more like a hotel when compared to those in Libya,” he wrote.
