A night full of food and music for the APS staff

Monday, 14 September 2015, 12:51 Last update: about 12 years ago

It was an evening full of music, delicious food and illusions at Villa Arrigo in Naxxar, last Saturday for APS Bank's annual staff BBQ.

Illusionist Brian Rolè performed a multitude of tricks throughout the evening, going round the tables bedazzling the staff. Entertainment did not stop there; guitarist Kevin Spiteri & singer Karen Cachia accompanied the sounds of sizzling meat during the BBQ.

To top it all off, there was a raffle with a twist. Ten envelopes were placed underneath random chairs and staff had to check if they were the lucky winners by looking for the envelope underneath their seat. The lucky ones went home not only with a full stomach but also a hamper.

"The scope of the APS Summer BBQ was for APS staff to enjoy an evening together and unwind in an informal setting. The high attendance to the event, as well as the positive comments received thereafter, showed that the event went down as a resounding success. "On behalf of the Social Activities Committee, I'd like to thank all those involved" said Social Activities chairperson Lana Degiorgio, as the staff are already looking forward to other events.
