A total 19 “standards” were launched today to regularise the residential services given to persons with a disability. The standards regularise services given by the State, the private sector and the Church.

The document was launched by Parliamentary Secretary Justyne Caruana during a news conference at Dar il-Kaptan.

She said the government pledged it would give peace of mind to parents of persons with a disability and is doing so by ensuring the services given to such people are ones of quality.
