Gozo Channel said today that it had to cancel two of its scheduled trips this morning after one of its vessels, the MV Malita, developed technical problems.

“Gozo Channel would like to inform its esteemed clientele that this morning a technical fault  developed on the thrusters of the MV Malita, due to this breakdown the 06.30 trip from Cirkewwa and the 07.00 trip from Mgarr were not performed.

The Company has taken all the necessary measures by operating its third vessel and all vehicles stranded at Mgarr were loaded on the MV Ta’ Pinu and the MV Gaudos simultaneously.

Gozo Channel would like to inform that the service has resumed according to normal schedule operations and apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
