SOS Malta said today it was preparing to give vital aid to refugees in a camp in Serbia. 

“Supported by representatives of the three political parties in the Local Councils, the business sector represented by the Paltform CORE and the Serbian Community in Malta we shall be providing food, water and non-food items such as hygiene kits and sleeping bags.”

“The photos coming from Europe are truly heartbreaking.  Over 4 million are now refugees seeking safety in countries across Europe, forced from their homes due to violence and persecution.  Our values call us to answer the desperate please of mothers, fathers and children searching for safety and assistance,” the NGO said.
