Lauren Pulis won the first edition of the St Vincent de Paul home for the elderly Worker of the Year, organised by the parliamentary secretariat for the elderly. Ms Pulis runs the customer care section of the facility.
The team of the year award went to the MMMU group that introduced new practices that save up to €8,000 a year.
They received their prizes from parliamentary secretary Justyne Caruana.
