President Marie Louise CFoleiro Preca today launched the He for She campaign with the United Nations Women Lakshmi Puri in New York.

This campaign will be launched in Malta during the Notte Bianca activities.

The campaign is aimed to address inequalities and stereotypes between men and women. Dr Coleiro Preca was one of 10 heads of state chosen by the UN for the campaign; she is the only woman.

The campaign also includes 10 university academics and 10 chief executive officers.

Dr Coleiro Preca this morning also visited Ground Zero. On Sunday she will be addressing the UN general assembly.
