The players who took part in the tennis tournament had a great time last weekend each playing four to five hours of tennis, competing and socializing over a few Heinekens and McGuigans!

The organisers are proud to announce that all proceeds collected, around €1,000, are going to the Malta Community Chest Fund via Solidarjeta Fl-Isport. The visit on Saturday morning by the Parliamentary Secretary for Sport, Chris Agius was a nice surprise to the members present, and during the time he spent at the club, he quickly familiarized with the set up, being a sportsman himself.

Charles Grech would like to thank Mr Agius for his visit and the Pembroke Rackets Tennis Club president Ian Wirth and Julian Holland from MCCF for the partnership in this venture.
