After last year's success, the Ta' Xbiex Local Council, together with Ta' Xbiex SC, is organising the second edition of the Ta' Xbiex Fun Run in aid of ALS Malta, a new foundation that was founded recently and is growing day by day; it is working to eradicate this motor neurone disease.

The event starts at 9am, and finishes, from the Ta' Xbiex Yacht Marina, on Sunday 18th October at 9am, exactly in front of the ex-hotel Les Lapins, near Pontoon J. Applications can be collected from the Ta' Xbiex Local Council offices, from the council's webpage www.taxbiex.com, from the Facebook page ALS Malta Ta' Xbiex fun run or any local council or TXSC committee member.

This fun run is for people of all ages and from every sector. Whoever wishes to participate, can either walk or run the selected route which is 2km or 5km long. Last year, the oldest participant was 77 years old and the youngest was 9.

This will definitely be another successful event for Ta' Xbiex, this time with a sports theme promotes healthy living and physical activity for Ta' Xbiex residents and the general public.
