Hundreds have visited the Armed Forces of Malta open day at the Valletta Waterfront. The open day is one of a number of activities to celebrate the AFM’s 45th anniversary. The event kicked off at 2pm and will continue until 11pm.
Visitors can take a look at the AFM’s latest assets, including the AW139 helicopter and the Austal Class Patrol boats. Other aircraft and patrol vessels are also on show at the waterfront.
The open day also includes weapon exhibitions and an assault course.
A display involving the Search and Rescue launches Melita I and Melita II was held at 4pm.
