Le Meridien opens the festive season

Le Méridien St Julian's Hotel & Spa in Balluta Bay marked its preparations for the Festive Season last Friday, with a media and travel trade launch celebrating the beginning of the Christmas and New Year period.

For the event, and for the duration of the festive season, the hotel has been magically dressed in sparkling and glittering Christmas decorations which gives the hotel a joyful ambiance and makes it the right place to welcome the New Year.

The hotel, lead by Director of Operations Alex Incorvaja and Executive Chef Sven Cepon prepared its biggest signature pastry, the éclair, measuring 2.2 meters. Individual portions of the éclair were also sold throughout the evening in an effort to gather funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund. During the weekend, éclairs were also sold at KuDéTa Lounge & Bar for €1.50, with all proceeds also going to the Malta Community Chest Fund.

Between 5 and 8 December Le Méridien St Julian's Hotel & Spa will have an éclair stand at the Plaza Shopping Centre in Sliema where shoppers are able to enjoy a taste of this iconic French pastry while helping the Malta Community Chest Fund with their purchase.
