Adverts appearing in the international media say the Maltese government is looking to employ foreign nurses for a salary of €30,000 a year.
The adverts speak of a two-year contract, which can be renewed, with a 40-hour week that can go up to 46.5 hours in case overtime is needed.
Candidates must have a degree in nursing, have European citizenship, a clean police record and must also be able to speak English, the adverts say.
