Malta has taken centre stage in a thrilling adventure book co-written by world renowned Clive Cussler and Graham Brown.

Described as “the dazzling new novel in the #1 New York Times-bestselling NUMA Files series from the grand master of adventure,” and “Oceanography's answer to Indiana Jones”, The Pharaoh’s Secret is for its most part based in Malta.

It is the 13th book in the The Numa Files Series, a string of action-packed books which Clive Cussler has co-written first with Paul Kemprecos and, the last five, with Graham Brown.

Graham Brown was one of three American authors who were brought to Malta by the Malta Tourism Authority last June in an attempt to diversify Malta’s tourism market and promote Malta in the United States.

The other two authors were Chris Kuzneski and Boyd Morrison, with Kuzneski already including Malta in his thriller The Prisoner’s Gold which was published last October. Morrison’s next publication is scheduled for May.

In The Pharaoh’s Secret, Malta and Gozo feature prominently, with scenes based in Grand Harbour as well as in Gozo, apart from other events that take place off the coast of the islands.
