Malta Independent poll: 60% of 7,000 respondents see government riddled with corruption

Sunday, 13 March 2016, 07:30 Last update: about 9 years ago

A poll running on The Malta Independent web portal (www.independent.com.mt) since last Sunday (6 March) has found that close to 60 per cent of over 7,000 respondents feel that the current administration is riddled with corruption.

The poll asks our online readers to describe Joseph Muscat’s three years in office by choosing one of three answers. Of those who have responded, 58.72 per cent chose the description that it is “a government riddled with corruption in such a short time,” while 37.05 per cent saw the current administration as a “breath of fresh air in Maltese politics.” A further 4.23 per cent saw this government as the “same as previous PN administration.”
